About Curb Your Enthusiasm
Curb Your Enthusiasm is a long-running, improvisational comedy TV series created by and starring Larry David, the co-creator of Seinfeld. It airs on HBO and is known for its dry humor, social awkwardness, and unapologetically blunt characters.
Larry David plays a fictionalized version of himself — a wealthy, semi-retired TV writer living in Los Angeles (and sometimes New York). Each episode follows Larry getting into increasingly absurd social and ethical conflicts due to his honesty, stubbornness, and inability to let go of petty annoyances.
The Project
HBO designed a sweater that featured the main character in the show. Larry David. They wanted his face on the front of the sweater and they wanted the sweaters for their official store.
The Making of the Sweater
The sweater was a fully custom sweater. The yarn was pantone matched and the design was knitted in. The sweater had collars, cuffs and hem in a solid color and they were reinforced for a premium finish. The sweater included an exclusive Curb Your Enthusiasm label and they were all individually packaged to allow for easier distribution.
The Result
HBO added the sweater to their Curb Your Enthusiasm merch collection. It matched and aligned perfectly to their swag line of apparel.
