Overview

Paramount partnered with Roody to create a holiday collection inspired by the cult classic Twin Peaks. The limited-edition Christmas sweaters celebrated the show’s unique aesthetic while tapping into the rise of ironic and nostalgic holiday wear.

The sweaters were to celebrate the enduring fan base of Twin Peaks with a festive tribute and to blend the holiday motifs with the show’s surreal, eerie atmosphere.

Making the Sweaters

There were a number of different designs in the Twin Peaks collection, all featuring symbols from the show that were knitted in. The yarn itself was Pantone-matched to the Twin Peaks colors to ensure brand consistency with the rest of the merch line.

Execution

Materials: The yarn used was premium acrylic. This is the best yarn to use for Christmas sweaters as it holds the colors well and promises a premium feel and finish.

Distribution: Some of the designs were limited edition, and the sweater was available to purchase online.
