Audi collaborated with Roody on a number of occasions for custom Christmas sweaters , and for this project, they wanted some custom swag to give as Christmas gifts.
About Audi
Audi is a premium German automobile manufacturer known for producing luxury vehicles, performance cars, and advanced automotive technology. It is a core brand within the Volkswagen Group, one of the largest carmakers in the world.
Audi has very strong brand values and they wanted to ensure that was implemented into any swag created. Audi is associated with precision engineering, sleek, minimalist design, technological innovation and quiet luxury.
The Project
Audi wanted some swag that was slightly different from their annual Christmas sweater but still maintained the same premium look and feel. We collaborated on creating a limited edition cardigan. The cardigan featured their four interlinked rings, representing the 1932 merger of four companies (Audi, DKW, Horch, and Wanderer) that formed Auto Union, Audi’s predecessor.
The Making of the Swag
The swag item that was chosen was a cardigan. The cardigan was made completely from scratch. Five different color yarns were used in a premium blend and the design was knitted in to ensure there was a premium feel. The cardigan had a shawl collar front and reinforced cuffs and hem. The design on the front was minimalist which allowed the back of the cardigan to have a more fun design and it featured a gorgeous Audi in red.
The Result
Audi loved the cardigan. It matched their annual Christmas sweaters and as it was a limited edition piece, it made a great and special gifts for their lucky customers and clients.
