South Park wanted to create some custom Christmas sweaters for the holidays. They wanted some limited edition and some classic sweaters. The aim of the project was to create pieces that fans of the show would love and that could be shared through PR and influencer campaigns.

About South Park
South Park is an American animated television series created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. It premiered on Comedy Central in 1997 and is known for its crude humor, satirical storytelling, and commentary on current events, politics, and popular culture.
The Project
We initially worked closely with the people running the South Park store to help them bring their vision to life. They wanted a number of different samples to try to get a feel of the type of sweater that would work for their customers. Some of the smaller parts of the design, like faces, were intricate so we made sure to select the correct gauge and yarn to ensure maximum results.
The Result
The response was better than even anticipated. The first run of Towelie sweaters sold out before they even reached the shelves (pre-orders) so more sweaters had to be made in a super short period.
The South Park Christmas Sweaters have become an annual tradition. Some of the designs stay the same (the classic line) and some new ones crop up (the limited editions)
